Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of FrancaisUp. By creating an account, purchasing access or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About FrancaisUp

FrancaisUp is an independent online learning platform designed to help users prepare for French-language examinations, including DELF.

FrancaisUp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by France Éducation international or any French public institution.

FrancaisUp does not administer official DELF examinations, issue DELF diplomas or register users for official examinations.

2. The Service

FrancaisUp provides digital preparation materials and tools that may include practice examinations, exercises, progress tracking, automated scoring and AI-assisted feedback.

The exact features included in free and paid access may be displayed on the relevant pricing or product pages.

We may improve, modify or replace individual features over time, provided this does not materially deprive users of a paid service they have already purchased during their applicable access period.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

Your account is intended for your personal use and may not be sold, transferred or shared with others.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless it results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.

4. Purchases and access

Prices, included features and the duration of access are shown before purchase. Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider.

5. Purchases and refunds

Access to paid FrancaisUp content is provided immediately after purchase. By requesting immediate access, you expressly agree that the digital service begins immediately and acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once access begins.

Purchases are therefore non-refundable once access has been provided, except where required by applicable law or where the Service cannot be provided as described.

If you experience a problem with your purchase or access, contact us at contact@francaisup.fr.

6. Educational results

FrancaisUp is a preparation tool.

Practice scores, evaluations, recommendations and automated feedback are estimates intended to help users prepare. They are not official examination results.

We do not guarantee that using FrancaisUp will result in a particular score, passing grade, certification or other examination outcome.

7. AI-assisted features

Certain features may use artificial intelligence or other automated systems to evaluate submitted content and generate feedback.

Automated feedback may contain errors or differ from an assessment made by an official examiner. Users should treat it as a preparation aid rather than an authoritative examination decision.

8. Acceptable use

You may not use FrancaisUp to interfere with the operation or security of the Service, attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or accounts, circumvent access restrictions, systematically extract or scrape content, reproduce substantial portions of our materials, resell access, or use the Service in violation of applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, other users or our rights.

9. Intellectual property

FrancaisUp and its original content, exercises, interface, software, branding and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Purchasing access gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service for your own examination preparation. It does not transfer ownership of FrancaisUp content or intellectual property to you.

10. Availability

We aim to keep FrancaisUp available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. We may temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control. Mandatory consumer rights relating to the conformity and supply of digital services remain unaffected.

11. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, FrancaisUp is not responsible for indirect losses arising from use of the Service or for examination outcomes resulting from factors outside our control.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms when reasonably necessary, including to reflect changes to the Service, applicable law or security requirements.

14. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by French law, without depriving consumers residing elsewhere of mandatory protections available to them under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms limits a consumer’s right to bring a claim before a competent court where that right is provided by applicable law.
